these are battery powered ones, this set  from amazon, i foolishly installed both sets hence the messy look, turns out i probably could have made do with one set but it is done, have to open the hood to use the remote to turn them on.

You put blue and red lights on the front of a vehicle... that isn’t a police or emergency response vehicle...

Don’t be surprised if you get pulled over.

So these lights have 8 different display patterns, 4 of which are flashing between red and blue and green and yellow, the patteen displayed is just all lights always on, i am trying no to inpersonate a police officer.
